Today we got home from our late anniversary weekend! Our actual anniversary was on the 15th, but Brad got us tickets to Air Supply for this weekend so we celebrated a couple weeks late. Friday we headed out to Wendover for the concert. I have never been to Wendover and my expectations were not all that high! Needless to say Wendover did indeed meet all my expectations! However, Brad and I had a blast! We first found that The Nugget most definitely was not the fanciest hotel around, not that any were all that fancy! Anyway we ate dinner at the cafe there and then headed over to the concert hall to pick up our tickets. We then went over to the hotel next to it. I am definitely not huge gambler, I would much rather go shopping, but I decided one or two bucks won't hurt. I know shame on me, oh well!! I was playing video poker and have no idea what I'm doing! On the first two hands I played I won $120 bucks, sooo I cashed out and was done for the evening. Our next event for the evening was the concert! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Air supply! Well I do! Brad was just going to be a good husband, but he ended up loving the concert! It really was the best concert I have been to for awhile (Celine was right there too, but I LOVE Air Supply!) We had GREAT seats, we were on the 4th row, but then everyone moved to the stage and we were right next to the stage! Oh I loved it! For two old guys they ROCKED! They came out after the concert and I got to get their autographs and tell them how much I loved them!!! I am pretty sure we were the youngest people there!! The next day we went to SLC and hung out for the day. We went and saw Taken, which was actually a really good movie. We then went to dinner at Flemings. It was soooo yummy! I highly recommend it! We then spent the rest of the evening just being lazy and watching T.V. We both laughed when we got back to the room and VERY QUICKLY changed into our comfy clothes and lounged on the bed because we were so stuffed. Nearly simultaneously we said that was the nice thing about being married six years!!! We missed the kids like crazy, but it was nice to get away!

That sounds likes so much fun! There's nothing like 80's Rock Ballads! (And I'm serious!) Reading about your getaway made me realize how much I need a getaway! :)
