Celine

I got to go to Celine with a bunch of my high school friends this last weekend. We had so much fun! This is our second time actually seeing her, the first time we went and saw her in Vegas. She is such a great performer, I could only wish to have half her energy and I wouldn't mind having her legs either! We are not quite as die hards as the group of girls a couple rows behind us(on the very top row) who were all decked out in their little black minis dancing and crying to every song she sang! They were almost nearly as amusing as Celine was...we laughed because you would have thought such die hards would have spent a little extra cash to maybe get a little CLOSER!!! Anyway we had a great time, lets get to thinking about MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice girls...

We went to Tepanyaki before the concert to eat. It was so yummy! It was actually a nice relaxing meal, not having to worry about Brinlee not eating her dinner and Brecken throwing his! The chief did a good enough job throwing the shrimp on the floor!!! He wasn't a very good shot!

The countdown is on...

So it has been awhile since I updated about our living situation. Most of you already know but we decided to build a home in Saratoga Springs. I am pretty sure it is the only house they are working on up there so I swear it is going up super fast. They are finishing dry walling this week. They say we will be closing about the first of April! I can not wait...I am so sick of living in our tiny 600 sq foot, two bedroom barn! Knowing that I have a house I will soon be living in makes this situation even worse! Not that I'm not eternally grateful for the opportunity to live here in the barn, but I am just done!!!! Here is some progress on our house so far...

6 Years and going strong!

On February 15, 2003 I married my best friend. Six years later we are just as happy if not more so then we were the day we said I do! I am truly the most lucky person to be married to such a wonderful man. He is the best husband and father I could ever ask for. He is the most thoughtful person I know. He is always thinking of me and doing little things that show how much he loves me. Just this morning I found a note from him in the pocket of my scrub top telling me that I am one of his heroes and how much he loves me! Yes, its cheesy but it made my day at work! He does things like that all the time, he is so sweet. He makes my life so much easier. Honestly, what man cleans, does laundry and takes great care of his kids! Love you babe!! On our anniversary/valentines day weekend we took our kids and went to St. George. We had such a blast. We took the kids swimming about a million and a half times for starters! We also took them to Jumpin Jacks ( I really can't remember if that is what it was called), and then took them for a nice Valentines day dinner at Pirate Pizza, where we won tickets for GREAT prizes (okay they are all in the trash now but the kids loved it!) On our actual anniversary we drove to Springdale which is right next to Zion and stayed in a cute little cabin type place! Oh, it was so nice to relax and get away for the weekend. Just to spend time together as a family was the best anniversary/valentines day present I could ask for! However, my husband being the sweetie that he is, is taking me to AIR SUPPLY for an anniversary gift this weekend! Yeah baby!!!!

Oklahoma Trip

We went to Oklahoma the end of January for 5 days. It was so nice to see all of Brad's family. We don't get to see them very often, so it is really fun to see our kids and our niece Riley play. They were so cute getting to know each other, and playing their guts out once they got comfortable. Overall it was a great trip! However, we did get stuck in an ice storm! We were pretty much stuck in the house for three days straight. The time Brad did leave the house he slipped on the ice and hurt his back...so he was useless the rest of the trip. Yes we live in Utah where we have snow and ice galore and then he goes to Oklahoma and the minute he steps foot outside he falls! Then our flight home was canceled(my in-laws were pleased as punch they got to keep our kids for another day), when we finally did get on a plane we were delayed in Denver all day long! Really though we had a fabulous time!

Mum (Brad's grandma) reading Brinlee a book

Riley was so cute, she wanted to hold Brecken so bad even though he is bigger then she is! They are only about 9 months apart.

Brecken chillin on Riley's chair.
While we were out there we went to the Walking With The Dinosaurs. That was so much fun. It kept both of my kids entertained the whole time. That is amazing for Brecken, he doesn't hold still for anything!

And of coarse Brinlee got her cotton candy!

Yes it is true...I am a slacker!!

Okay I know I haven't been very good. So I'll just post a few pics to get caught up! These first ones are of my shower after Brinlee had a hay day with her washable bathtub crayons! My child is very artistic, and we loved to look at her art. However it did have to come off at some point...and I am here to tell you that they are not very washable! Hence the throwing away of the bath tub crayons!

Just hanging out with my kidlets. I really treasure the time I get to spend with them. I love to watch them grow and learn new things everyday. It is amazing how fast they are growing!

I have been able to go skiing a couple times this year! This is huge progress from last year. I went one time with my friends and then again with Brad. My sisters and I did take our oldest kids skiing for the first time ever. We thought for sure we could teach them how to ski! No problem right! Well I was wrong...I decided that ski school is definatly worth the bucks! We did have fun though!
