Brinlee's first day of school

Today was Brinlee's first day of Kindergarten. She was so excited to go and start, she walked into the classroom and let go of my hand immediately to go find her seat. There was absolutely no hesitation on her part. Honestly I feel horrible saying that I did not cry when I dropped her off. Trust me I have my issues with her going, yet I am also excited for her. I know she will do fantastic! I just can't believe my sweet baby girl is old enough to start school, its crazy.

The only problem we did have was getting her up and ready. She is NOT a morning person. Needless to say she will be going to bed much earlier tonight!!!




Sure enough when I picked her up, she was so excited to show me her folder with her "homework" in it. She loved her first day of kindergarten. I asked her what she learned at school and one thing she said was that she learned how to not be naughty. I can only hope that it applies for her at home too!!!

Brecken showing off his 4 teeth, he is now working on his 5th and 6th. He is getting two more on the bottom and he is not been very happy.


Brecken's first time eating a lemon, it takes him a few tries before he realizes it is sour. I know it is very cruel, but it was hilarious, he kept wanting another taste!!

Cancun...

Brad and I just got back from Cancun on Monday night. We had such a good time, we meet so many fun, nice people from all over the world. It was very interesting to talk to them and get there backgrounds. It was so nice to just sit at the pool/beach and not have one thing to worry about. It was five days of complete relaxation!! My mom was so good to take our kids, we really appreciate it!

We went para sailing and Brad got sick on the boat. It was so hot that day and the movement of the waves got to him.

I was forced into doing a conga line, while Brad sat and laughed at me. It was not funny! Yes I am somewhere in all that mess!

California Trip...

We went to California for Brad's cousin Ryan's wedding. We drove, which was quite the experience with our two children! We went to the beach and Universal Studios while we were out there. It was good to see some of Brad's family while we were there, we don't get to see them very often since they all live in Oklahoma. Of coarse his parents spoiled our children rotten while we were out there with them! We love them tons and are grateful for all the fun things they do for our kids!






Brecken and Papa got splashed from the Jurassic Park ride. Brecken loved it and did not mind it a bit.



Brinlee was being a turd when we first arrived, she did not want to go on any rides or get pictures with any of the characters. It only took her a few minutes to figure it out and then she was having a blast!

Lake Powell

We spent a week at Lake Powell over the 24th of July, we had a ton of fun. The kids had a fabulous time playing on the beach and in the water. They also loved riding on Grandpa's boat and going for "dip dips!"
